Fall Planting Series

Over the next few weeks, as we are doing fall seed in and bulb planting in several different places, I’ll post a series of blogs on my favorite fall veggies, fall flowers to seed and fall bulbs to plant.

We do this stuff in all sorts of situations: Historic Columbia gardens, little private city gardens and even on our farm.  No matter the situation, the processes and plants are the same.  And the goal, of all farming and gardening, to bring beauty and nutrients from the earth  is the same, too.

Speaking of Fall bulbs…I bought my first Crinum bulbs from you about a month ago and got them planted right away. What a surprise and a treat…they have already sprouted and are about 9″ tall. We are truly looking forward to seeing their growth progress and beauty over the years.
