Tip: When you plant dutch iris, vary the depth from 2 inches to 5 inches. This will vary flowering time and height giving a more natural look.

Description
Dutch Iris adds height and drama just as other bulbs seem to be finishing up. And they make a great vertical display in a pot.
When hot pink azaleas pink rock the spring, blue dutch iris also burst into full color.
This mix includes includes some clean cobalt blues and some that lean toward purple and gold — will all have similar colors but will stagger flowering times a bit giving you a long spring of blue velvet!
NOTE: In zone 8, dutch iris do not perennialize well. They are amazing for a fun burst of spring color but you’ll need to replant next year too.
