Chrysanthemum ‘Miss Gloria’s Thanksgiving Day’


Purple flowers at Thanksgiving!  Named for my mother as she found it and cultivated it since the 70’s.  Similar but darker and later than Clara Curtis.

Simple, long-lived, old fashioned masses of flowers on Thanksgiving Day!

Growing Conditions: Full sun.

Flowers: Simple, single daisy like flowers.  Rich lavender with golden center.  Perfect fall colors.

Leaves: Sprawling stems work well trained up a fence or into a big shrub such as nandina.

How To Plant:  Regular to dry garden soil and full sun.

Where To Plant:  Spectacular with fall grasses or lemon yellow daylilies. Great with antique roses and the purple flowers are beautiful around the blue gray leaves of Crinum bulbispermum.
