Description
Growing Conditions: Best known as the Saint Christopher Lily, this is probably only hardy to zone 8 unless thoughtfully placed or protected. Needs full sun and regular garden soil.
Flowers: Eeverything around it smells like vanilla! Green-tipped buds open to pure white, intoxicating vanilla-scented flowers in late June and early July.
Leaves: Broad upright leaves spread out to 3 three feet in the shade. It adds soft, but vertical texture.
How To Plant: Plant it deep enough so the tip of the bulb’s neck is just exposed and gives it space for its coming foliage and extensive root system.
Where To Plant: Jagus loves rich soil and shade Makes a handsome container plant too!
