Description
Tough perennial bulb with up to 10 delicate flowers per stem. This jonquil flowers in mid-march (zone 8) and the leaves are always emerald green.
Growing Conditions: Full sun. Dry to moist soil.
Flowers: Very early spring. Fragrant and many flowers per stem make this a valuable harbinger of spring.
Leaves: Narrow and emerald green. Not subject to spots or drying out.
How To Plant: Plant in the ground about 4 inches deep.
Where To Plant: Mix into perennials that come up later such as four o’clock or crinum. Excellent to naturalize in wet meadows.
