Description

gBag of 50

One of the few tulips that will come back and flower year after year, these little bulbs are beautifully striped in bud. Then when the flower opens out they are stunning and cheerful. Best of all, they open and close with the sun, so you get to enjoy both stages.

In Columbia, SC, they flower around the first of April. Leave them be and they’ll set seeds too. They like a dry, sunny place, under antique roses is perfect. They’ll return every year but be warned that critters and too much summer irrigation will get them.

Add a bright spot to the garden but it’s also the perfect number to fill up a little clay pot.

Plant about 3 inches deep and a few inches apart from each other. Plant now through January in the South.
