Siberica White Oriental Lily

Original price was: $18.00.Current price is: $13.00.

Oriental lilies like acidic soils — that makes them adapted to the South. These tall whites flower in late May and compliment the whispy wands of pink guara, blue salvia, and even daylilies.

Because they are big and showy, we plant these in the town square, well the traffic circle really, that Momma’s garden club cares for — no one driving by can miss them.

Lilies thrive in full sun or part shade. Plant them deep, 5 to 6 inches, and thick. I put 3 or 4 bulbs in each hole, 5 per order.

While other bulbs will wait for you, these lilies want to be planted now!

Old fashion Grape Hyacinth

This tiny bulb offers cascading foliage all winter and mountains of blue flowers in spring. Perfect for shallow pots and rock gardens.

We keep a bowl on the patio table. You can plant all 25 bulbs in one clay pot!.

After flowering, set it aside to go dormant and dry for the summer. It reliably returns each fall - the only perennial grape hyacinth!

But for you meadow gardeners and pollinator lovers, these long-lived bulbs have adorned our bulb lawn for over 80 years. (see photo) They are attractive to early pollinators, too.

They look great with Hellebors and tiny jonquils like Quail. They can seed in and naturalize in Southern landscapes.

Drumstick Allium

Enchanting spheres of deep mauve nod and sway with the gentle summer breeze. The most charming of flowers, they're big enough to make a show but small enough to intertwine with perennials like yarrow and day lilies seamlessly.

If you have a native-ish grassy meadow, nothing brings a bit of pizzaz like drumstick allium!

The whimsical, ping-pong ball-like flowers gracefully fill the spaces between other plants in may and June.

Planting these bulbs is a breeze - simply push them about an inch deep into the soil, and watch as they effortlessly establish themselves. Like most allium, they need to bake in the summer -- old gardeners use the phrase 'grow them hard' meaning no irrigation, no mulch, no fertilizer, just let them zone out.

50 bulbs per bag  (don't worry, they are small!)
