Description
Growing Conditions: Full sun to very light shade.
Flowers: Spectacular! In color, form, and fragrance. White with a slight rose tinge. Lovely curled petals. Most importantly, a perfume that permeates evening air with hints of vanilla and as many say, ‘fruit loops.’ 4-5 foot tall scapes.
Flowering Season: Mid-June into August. Repeats with summer rains.
Leaves: Handsome, controlled and sculptural leaves make a three-foot-wide mound. Elegant foliage that works well in front of the border or with smaller perennials.
How To Plant: Plant 12 inches deep with decent drainage. This plant needs full sun, normal garden soil. Lovely mixed with pink zinnias.
Where To Plant: This is a statement plant; a single clump in a pot, mixed into small borders or right at the front door with only a ground cover of fern or wire vine. Proven hardy in the hills of Virginia, zone 6.
