Gloriosa Lily Vine 3 Big Tubers

Seductive little chandeliers! This spectacular lily will make colonies and cloak a fence or mailbox.

Yes, this lily is a vine! Plant the long tubers horizontally, just a few inches deep in the hottest place you have. They love sand or clay — but they don’t want to be too wet. Soon, delicate tendrils curl and climb, opening the spectacular flowers. 

Two odd things about this plant make it even more useful. First, it’s perfect to plant under a shrub. I have one climbing up a yucca plant!  And it’s a beautiful floater.  Pick the flowers and float them in a dark dish.
