Description

Very cold hardy! This bulb has been spotted doing very well in Seattle, Washington DC, Missouri, and Ohio. A bit of Carolina for you cold climate gardeners.

Growing Conditions: Full sun to light shade. Normal, dry or sometimes flooding soil. But not standing water! Excellent for retention ponds!

Flowers: Tons of pure white flowers at Father’s Day! Big white flowers that are slightly fragrant really put on a show as they bloom through July.

Leaves: Neat slightly arching, apple-green leaves stay less than three feet tall.

How To Plant: Plant 12-15 inches deep in a spot with good winter drainage and full sun.

Where To Plant: The foliage stays fairly neat and clean so can be used in the front of borders. Looks great mixed with grasses, daylilies and little dahlias. Makes a fine container plant that can be unwatered for weeks!

Our Bulbs: We ship bulbs about the size of a grapefruit!   Flowering size bulbs are grown organically in our Carolina red dirt. This plant produces big bulbs and lots of little “pups” (baby crinum bulbs) readily.
