Description

Growing Conditions: Infusion thrives in our sandy fields but also likes lots of water and would do well in a flood-prone area.

Flowers: Infusion’s flowers are a zany hot pink that arrive in early July in the midlands of South Carolina (Zone 8). The flowers reach a height of five feet and have a sweet, perfume-like fragrance.

Flowering Season:  July

Leaves: Tall, glossy leaves. Dense, tropical-looking clumps 4 feet tall.

How To Plant: Plant in full sun or very light shade at a depth of about eight inches.

Where To Plant: Try planting them near the back of borders or walkways. Spectacular with purple phlox and bananas. The leaves add a nice tropical texture all summer.

Our Bulbs: We ship single, ready-to-flower bulbs about the size of a small apple with a couple of little pups.  Be aware, for such a big plant, it sure has a small bulb!
