Crinum ‘Sundance’

$45.00

Subtle and elegant flowered top leaves that reach only 28 inches. Flowers in the heat of late July. They start with a pale pink stripe and lipstick kisses of pink on the outside of the closed buds. Over the days, that stripe fades to white.

Hardy into the Raliegh area (JC Raulston Arboretum).  This variety is rarely available.

Description

Flowers; Almost pure white star-shaped flowers with a faint pink stripe and pink tips on the buds. Flowers come in mid-July.

Where to Grow; Full sun to part shade. A fairly compact plant, so place it near the front of a border. Makes a beautiful combination with dwarf pink Monarda.

Hardiness: Zone 7a. Possibly colder. Though the parents suggest that it won’t be terribly cold hardy. Crinum scabrum x  loddigesianum

We ship medium-size bulbs, about the size of a tennis ball that should flower next year.
