Perennial Lemon Marigold (Tagetes lemonii)

$24.00

Deer Hate It!

Grows into a waist-high mound of soft, billowy foliage plant all summer, with brilliant yellow flowers in November.

Tough as nails!  This heat-loving, drought-tolerant frilly leafed perennial will spill over sidewalks and asphalt and thrive!

Description

I’ve seen a giant mass on Seabrook Island, where deer pressure is terrible, in full flower in December.

Size: 4- 6 feet tall and wide.

Hardiness: Zone 8  (we don’t know about in cooler areas)

Normally, we cut this back to the ground each winter. But some years and in warm places along the coast, it’s evergreen.

Be aware that some people break out in a rash when working around this plant in full sun.

We ship well-rooted plants in 5″ plantable coco pots.
