JULY 27 (Sun) @ 11 am – 2 pm
In this family-friendly event, participants will learn a traditional method of creating cord from native yucca leaves. The cords will then be used to make bracelets out of native coral bean beads. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of native plants and ancient crafts and have fun creating art together!
Your afternoon includes making cords from leaves and beads from seeds with teacher Linda Lee:
- Discussion of Indigenous crafts and native plants
- Creative expression
- Light snacks and drinks
- You’l leave with a bracelet and maybe a coral bean plant
Events are rain or shine unless there is a terrible storm! Cancellations or changes must be received two weeks before the event date.
