We’re happy to offer group tours in the summer of 2021.

Group size limit of 10 to 20 people with covid safe protocals.

Arrive at 9:30 for a garden and nursery tour.   Enjoy a walk-around history of the 1750’s house and walk through Gloria’s garden with bottle trees, old-fashioned roses, and lots of curious plants. Peak into our artfully renovated barn office, our cobb studio, and meet the donkeys.  After a short break, we’ll see the nursery including lessons of our sustainable, no-till practices.

We’ll have lunch, a prepared brown bag lunch, and a special treat of dessert from farm produce.

Ph.D. Students from the University of Georgia said, “We never expected such a warm welcome — like we were home for the day.” (photo is pre-covid-farm table is no longer used for meals)

Spend a few minutes shopping for plants, books, and merchandise.  We’ll have special deals and great prices on all sorts of plants that we grow — from our specialty crinum to rare ferns and perennials.

Then head just down the red dirt road to Redcliffe State Historical site for a tour of the stunning grounds — with a realistic presentation focused on the enslaved people who planted the experimental landscape and crops.

Group Size  10-20 people.

Covid Safety protocols will be observed at all times including masks and social distancing. Lunch will be served at 2 or 4-person tables, where you can select your own seats with your pod.

Cost $35 per person, non-refundable, payable in advance to the group leader.

We’ll provide contact information for Redcliffe. Tours there range from free to $5.

All events will be held rain or shine except in extreme storms.  Dress for the farm!  Since we are doing no inside events, we’ll eat on the porches. In the case of severe weather, we’ll reschedule for another day.

Please make inquiries and reservations via email to Bob Waites bulbmen@gmail.com  Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
