Eucomis ‘Klein’s Maraschino Cherry’

Extremely rare in US horticulture, Maraschino Cherry brings bright reddish-pink to the garden. This selection comes from the same breeder as ‘Coco’. If you’ve ever heard or smelled an unpleasant pineapple lily, forget that. These are breed for the cut flower industry and smell great.  

Besides its unique flower color for arrangments, this one makes a soft, romantic addition to the garden. It multiplies well over the years and its leaves are a little less intensely burgundy that ‘Coco’.    

It also makes an excellent container plant.
