Ruth’s Tea Scented Noisette Rose

Original price was: $28.00.Current price is: $22.00.

It does indeed smell of tea!  Like opening a tin box of good tea.  With a little sugar! Loads of creamy flowers on a head-high bush.  Flowers open cream but fade to pink.  Lots of flowers in April and May, then again in October.

A tough, resilient old rose; my plants have never, ever been sprayed with anything!

Description

Loads of flowers in spring and fall, and loads of old-fashioned charm.

A long-lived resilient antique rose saved by South Carolina’s rose-woman extraordinaire, Ruth Knopf.

For a long season display, underplant with a spring flowering crinum or iris and four o’clocks.  The bulbs will flower first, the rose later, the four o’clocks after the rose stops.  But then in the fall, the rose flowers again!

We ship a healthy plant in a 4-inch pot.  Plant now and you’ll get great growth this summer.
