Queen’s Tears (Billbergia nutans)

Description

We grow this in the ground, in an extremely dry bed that is under an eave, so it gets almost no rain.  We also grow it in a few huge pots that stay on the porch all winter.

Or if you have a palm in a protected area, plant this right on the trunk, it will settle in and colonize the palm boots.

Makes an awesome pot plant too.
