Crinum ‘Antares’

Fuschia flowers in July on a big, luscious plant, ‘Anteras’ refers to the brightest red star in the universe. Breeder Alani Davis says its similar to its sister ‘Infusion’ but it’s more singular, less likely to split and make new plants.

Flower buds are black-red or garnet. Petals open wide releasing a wonderful, tropical sweet fragrance.

Big, emerald green leaves add a tropical touch too. One of the best of the red-flowered crinum.
