Iris ‘Caesar’s Brother’

A reliable blue iris for Zone 8, Ceasar’s Brother is an old garden favorite. Handsome clumps of narrow foliage reach almost 3 feet high, adding graceful form all summer. In early May, cobalt flowers top the plant.  This iris lives reliably in perennial borders for me for 5 or 6 years.  It probably would benefit from division and maybe a bit of extra moisture.
