A Frank Conversation About Sustainability

If you still question whether people can change the earth and climate, then become a gardener.   You’ll find out how quickly you can screw up a living system and how long it takes to put it back right.

   I love any book that stimulates me to think and write and question.   I love this book Flourishing: A Frank Conversation About Sustainability by John R. Ehrenfeld and Andrew J. Hoffman both leaders in the sustainability issues.   Reading this gives me hope, gave me an understanding of the word and let  me use this abused word without cynicism.   A deep and slow read but engaging from the first and most importantly, it stimulates me to consider how the concepts they discuss can be  true in my everyday life, especially in gardening.
